Uyuni Salt Flats

After finishing our Atacama Dessert we crossed the border to Bolivia. They even let Heta enter after some negotiations. Anyway, we were off to see the saltiest plane north of the South Pole.

On the way it wasn’t all salty and flat.
We saw entire flamboyances of flamingos.
We even found some boulders!
The sunrise on the salty flat was quite a sight.
And did we mention the salt?
After three days we arrived in Uyuni …
… and jumped into a refreshing local beer.
